The illuminis Regatta is the fifth event for the 2025 RS Vareo Rooster National Tour and will be hosted by Milton Keynes Sailing Club (MKSC) with sponsorship from illuminis Insight Software.
MKSC is located on Caldecotte Lake close to the M1 with easy road links from across the country.

Training Day
Once again we are delighted to also provide a training day on the Friday before the event. We are still waiting to confirm this year’s coach and will update this page as soon as we can.
Attendees should aim to be rigged and ready for an 11am start and we will finish around 6pm.
The training day is free for competitors and lunch and a pizza supper will be provided.
No spinnaker? No problem!
Once again this year there will be a prizefor the first RS Vareo sailing without a spinnaker, so if you’re one of our river sailors you will be VERY welcome.
Anticipated Timings
Below are the expected timings for the weekend although we tend to play it a bit by ear depending on conditions and discussions with the competitors.
Note: All food and drinks, including beer and wine on Saturday evening included in the entrance fee.
Sat 27th September
Registration: 10.00 onwards (breakfast rolls and hot drinks available)
Race briefing: 11.30
First warning signal race one: Sat 12:00 (ish), race two immediately after
Break for lunch: 14.00
Races three and four back to back: Expected finish around 17:00 – 17:30
Evening about 19.30: Fish and chip supper supplied by the renowned Fenny Fish Bar.
Sun 28th September
First warning signal race five: 1025hrs
Races six and seven back to back following race five
Results and prizes: 1430hrs (Sandwiches, snacks and drinks available for all competitors).
Entry Fee: £10 per boat
The entry fee includes all food and drink mentioned in the timings above.

There is Premier Travel Inn (Milton Keynes South) within walking distance of the club (it’s the fake windmill in the photo above!). There are several more Premier Inns and other accommodation within just a short drive .
Campervans can use the club car park overnight and we have room for a few tents. Alternatively you could try www.the-old-dairy-farm.co.uk.
Class Association membership
Please note to enter the event you need to be a member of the RS class association (any class). If you’re not already a member it’s only £45 per year.
